Here you will find some songs I've created on my computer using a piece of virtual audio rack software called Reason (currently in version 2.5), created by propellerhead software. An .mp3 of each song is available here, and I'm happy to give out .rps (Reason Published Song) files upon request (to mcohen[AT-SIGN]RollingTurtle.com), if you happen to own Reason and want to see how the song was done.
My friend Nick Keenan (who is also the editor-in-chief/desperado behind The Happy Clam) has seen fit to arrange, perform and record a song he likes to call “Low Velocity”, which secretly uses my poem “I Lost My Shit” (from Mi Año Rojo) as lyrics. Mature audiences only, por favor.
And yes, his voice really sounds like that. Tragic, isn't it?
